Serving CA's 36th district in legislative and press roles, I engaged with impactful policy discussions shaping our nation's future. In addition to providing tours of the U.S. Capitol and supporting the Democratic Vice Chair's office, I assisted the legislative team's leadership on critical developments in the House Committees on the Judiciary and Foreign Affairs. Most rewardingly, I drafted a testimony on facial recognition technology, and I wrote memos on international issues ranging from global conflicts and humanitarian efforts to nuclear threats and sports diplomacy.

Under the stewardship of Professor Larry Diamond and the Stanford Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law (CDDRL), I investigated Israeli studies programs, curricula, and materials at U.S. institutions.

I led weekly tours and provided knowledgeable assistance of campus to prospective students and other visitors. I represented the university in student forums and spearheaded the annual hiring process as a Hiring Lead.

The Conflict Resolution Lab at the Stanford Law School seeks to evaluate Stanford’s conflict resolution processes. I conducted interviews, focus groups, and surveys of relevant parties at Stanford and peer institutions to understand university policy and researched relevant theories of conflict resolution processes. I helped write a groundbreaking report of our findings and presented it to the Provost.

Ramat Gan, Tel Aviv, Israel

Engaged in communications, operations and research, I conducted research on Israeli textbooks and oscillated between projects: crafting journalistic and press pieces, developing strategic plans and engaging with international decision-makers. IMPACT is a research, policy and advocacy organization that monitors and analyzes education, employing UNESCO standards on peace and tolerance to determine compliance and to advocate for change when necessary.

Remote

The Youth Lab documents both the challenges elementary-aged students and their families face during the shift to remote learning as well as their adaptations to support new educational practices. I assisted in organizational and analytical tasks including cataloging material, transcribing videos, coding text, writing case summaries, and supporting the team's article submissions for publication.
