MyEduPath is transforming how college students prepare for and transition into the workforce by making practical experience a core part of their education.

I have been instrumental in integrating bioinformatics education in Ukraine since beginning of the war, pioneering an innovative educational approach tailored to these challenging environments. My responsibilities have included developing a comprehensive curriculum, securing funding, and collaborating with international partners to ensure effective program implementation. I have led a team in delivering remote and in-person training, established a global mentorship network, and played a key role in advocating for science and technology education in humanitarian efforts, significantly impacting communities in crises and influencing policy on a global scale.

Led research initiative in hydrologic modeling and spatio-temporal analysis, focusing on enhancing rainwater harvesting potential in water-scarce regions. My work primarily involved developing high-resolution spatiotemporal estimates, with a case study centered on Los Angeles. This project highlighted innovative approaches in water resource management and contributed to sustainable solutions in addressing water scarcity challenges.I facilitated the "Innovation in Engineering and Design for Global Challenges" course, focusing on the crisis resulting from the war in Ukraine. I guided students in researching and engineering solutions to address critical needs arising from the conflict, witnessing their creative approaches to tackle global challenges.

Performed a wide range of analytical and technical duties on different aspects of Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) development, MS4 permit compliance, watershed plans, stormwater program implementation and optimization across the US for various clients including, EPA, EPD, and local governments and municipalities.The highlight project experience is the development of Watershed Management Modeling System (WMMS2) and Enhanced Watershed Programs (EWMPs) for the Los Angeles County Flood Control District(LAFCD). In these projects I played a key role in water quality data collection and analysis, development of watershed and water quality models in LSPC and calibration and validation of water quality results - the final product is available at https://portal.safecleanwaterla.org/wmms/home

Conducted hydraulic/geotechnical data gathering, processing, and analyses; performed hydrologic/hydraulic modeling; analysis, interpretation and presentation of modeling results in support of studies related to Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Assessment, development of Comprehensive Load Reduction Plans, flood risk assessment, ecosystem restoration, and other projects for various clients including, USEPA, USEPD, and local governments and municipalities.

Performed sensitivity analysis of a distributed hydrologic model (LSPC/HSPF) in metropolitan Atlanta where data for all layers in the model are available (e.g. precipitation, land use, soils, stream channel characteristics), with the aim of determining minimum threshold resolution input data required to reasonably match runoff observations with model predictions.

Conferred with editor and authors on content, form and style; assisted in recommending revisions to manuscripts and illustrations; coordinated production schedules; maintained contact with authors, printers, faculty, staff and others associated with published work.

Compiled geospatial data on environmental pollution from a variety of sources including censuses, field observation (GPS), satellite imagery, aerial photographs, and existing maps; assisted at site assessment and preliminary environmental evaluation of potential sites for the electric power generating station.

Capacity building for development and implementation of cleaner production techniques and energy saving measures in industry, including development of environmental management systems according to ISO14001.
