Since I was a young girl, I have been fascinated by the art of Interior Design. My obsession started off slowly, watching HGTV and looking at countless Interior Design magazines. At six years old, I daydreamed of the day that I would attend The University of Texas as an Interior Design student. When that day finally came, I quickly realized that my ideas of Interior Design were just scratching the surface. Over the years, I have learned about the many ins and outs that the six year old version of me never would have imagined. I quickly fell in love with the practice and the technicalities that drive the profession of Interior Design. I fell in love with sketching, with imagining and creating, with seeing a design problem and diving into the nitty gritty to find a solution. Now, with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The University of Texas, I am excited to continue to pursue my passion of creating as an Interior Designer. I have long felt a drive in me to go, see, and do. With my experiences of travel, I have seen my eye for design transformed by the people, places, and cultures that I have been lucky enough to be immersed into. I would love to use these experiences to help other people encounter the ways in which Interior Design can affect their lives. I am highly interested in the realm of hospitality design, but I am eager to learn and grow in other areas of design as well.
