I am an experienced Project Manager in the non-profit education sector. My passion for youth development, educational empowerment, holistic development and health drives my work, where I believe strategic improvements can act as powerful catalysts for change.I lead at an organisation that tackles two of South Africa's key issues; youth (un)employment and children's illiteracy. Through our flagship programme, we employ previously unemployed youth to teach children how to read and write, turning societal challenges into opportunities for empowerment.My role extends to enhancing access to tertiary education for youth in township and rural area schools of the Eastern Cape. I oversee our scholarship programme which supports these students throughout their academic journeys, ensuring their success and future opportunities. This strategic effort not only floods poor areas with educated young people, but it also empowers communities to uplift themselves.I have honed my skills in project management, stakeholder engagement and data-driven decision-making throughout my time at Masinyusane. My careful financial oversight ensures our resources are meticulously aligned with our mission-driven goals. Additionally, by teaching myself Adobe InDesign, I have enhanced my report and proposal writing capabilities, enabling me to produce high-quality, professional documents.
