As a test fixture development engineer, I am responsible for the development of automated test fixtures for electronic production. My responsibilities include setting up requirements, designing and manufacturing test fixtures, providing necessary technical supports and accessories . Test categories include the use of: - Custom designed and 3D printed/CNC machined mechanical parts - Pneumatics, stepper motors and servos for motion, connectors, switches and buttons - Optics, back light, test images for camera verification - Infra red radiation sources of PIR verification - Sound recording, analysis and sound playback for audio verification - High frequency radio and regular test probes for precision conductive RF and signal measurement - RF shielded cavities - Light sensors, fiber optics for LED verification - Built in automatic QR and barcode readingOther responsibilities include: - Mechanical and electronic prototyping, SMD soldering, product label design and printing, software development, on site support at EMS/ODM.

As Lead Engineer for Multimedia Verification I was responsible for the development of specific technical solutions, algorithms and test methods that are used within our department. These Tools and test methods are mainly focused on automated and unmanaged testing integrated into an already existing automated test framework. The tool developed for this purpose is called MAT (Media Analysis Tool). Capabilities of this tool include undesired pause and spike detection inaudio, audio benchmarking such as PESQ, SNR, THD, frequency and DTMF tone detection. MAT also includes none audio specific analysis functionality such as audio/video sync during media playback, video FPS measurement and Round Trip Delay measurements in voice calls.

As a verification engineer my responsibilities included test case execution and development in various projects and use cases. Test case development was initially done in LabView/C for OSE products but was later replaced by java/python when focus shifted towards the Android operating system and also for a period of time MeeGo.
