Beijing Energy Network (BEN)'s mission is to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration to understand and tackle China's energy and environmental challenges among individuals and organizations from diverse sectors. These sectors include government, finance, industry, media, advocacy, think tanks, and academia. Conducted regional peak carbon emission research for provincial and municipal government branches.5. Involved in long-term decarbonisation development strategic planning for enterprises and government branches.6. Collaborated with various international organisations on low-carbon and sustainability development projects.

Vegans of Beijing (VoB) is a volunteer-led, multicultural community that promotes gentle veganism and makes the plant-based lifestyle accessible and enjoyable in China. Our team organizes offline and online events around Beijing for 2000+ members from all over the world. We regularly organize events like meals, markets, and documentary screenings to foster our community. By working with various restaurants and food brands, we make vegan options more available, not just to vegans, but to all.My work includes:1. Daily administration of VoB online groups (Chinese and English)2. Organize Vegan Dinners with restaurants and vegan brands (including international brands like Beyond Meat, etc.) in Beijing3. Recruit new VoB volunteers and admins4. Media outreach to make vegan volunteerism more mainstream in China5.
