Hello, I am Zonna Mir, a dedicated mechanical engineering student at McMaster University. I am passionate about leveraging my skills in design, analysis, and manufacturing to contribute to sustainable engineering solutions and make a positive impact on the world.As a member of the McMaster EcoCAR SDI subteam, I have had the opportunity to work on designing and analyzing critical components for our projects, such as motor mounts. Additionally, I have been actively involved in manufacturing various parts which has enhanced my hands-on experience and technical proficiency.In addition to my technical roles, I am a general outreach member of the NAYGN McMaster chapter, where I engage with the community to promote the use of nuclear energy as a viable renewable source. Furthermore, as the Director of Outreach for McMaster EngiQueers, I have helped successfully lead and plan initiatives like the IDEA conference, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for engineering students.My love for working with moving parts and bringing designs to life drives me to continually expand my knowledge.
