Worked in fabrication lab to implement a project production system for a CMU block research grant. Casted individual concrete blocks with various patterned faces, to later find shading / thermal capacities of blocks. The process started from designing blocks in Rhino, to 3D printing patterns and creating latex molds in order to cast these blocks.

Worked within a team of three, creating the “Software as Media” grant project that works to connect Akron’s North-side district to the community and city through augmented reality experiences. Conducted thorough research of Akron and its history to create an encyclopedia of historic and cultural sites around the area for an educational, informative application. Created a variety of maps using GIS and other data to visualize the area. Created different objects and buildings for a variety of augmented reality (AR) experience using QR codes to be activated through an app on the site.

Taught lessons on leadership development, cultural competency, and communication skills while serving as a liaison between Student Success Programs and trainees.
