I am the multidisciplinary artist and musician known professionally as ZOOLOOK®.In 1994, I got invited to join Lewis & Partners Advertising, a Food Service agency in San Francisco. I would head their design studio for the next eight years as the lead Graphic Designer. My tenure at the agency would introduce me to a world outside of print, including the world wide web, HTML, and Flash!I became a pioneer of Flash animation, a software that I still use under its new name, Adobe Animate, as a creative tool for developing my ideas along with Adobe’s Creative Cloud. From 2001 to 2008, I became a familiar face in the Flash community, producing such brands as FlashTV, TGSNT (The biggest Flash Storytelling Competition), Cavedudez, and ReelTV. I also started a motion graphics company called Papermotion, where my clients included the Beastie Boys (Grand Royal Records) and Wyclef Jean.My work appeared in TheFWA, PS Next, Web Designer Magazine (UK), Computer Arts (UK) and Layers Magazine (USA), and Yahoo Life (yes, they had a magazine once).In 2008, Adobe honored me as the Chosen One, an award given to 100 designers picked out of 6 million worldwide. Forever grateful!Fast forward to 2022 (Fall), and I've returned to college to pursue a degree in one of my first loves, Cinema. Making the dean's honor list in my first semester inspires me to become the best filmmaker I can be.
