I am currently a final year Medical student at the University of Birmingham. My focus is to gain the essential skills and knowledge needed to be an exceptional doctor and teacher. Teaching is one of the fundamental pillars of Medicine and is something I take pride in as I love to learn and hence pass on the knowledge I have picked up.My aim is to set up a charity in the near future which caters to maternal care because I believe the global disparities in maternal mortality is a disgrace. I have been in contact with the World Health Organisation and United Nations about how I as a medical student and future doctor can contribute to bringing progress to the sustainable development goals for health. I look forward to collaborating and becoming an ambassador post graduation through my charity work!Aside from Medicine I am interested in start ups, entrepreneurship and business and am keen to learn more about this field as I would like to build multiple sources of passive income that has the capacity to fund the charity work I would like to get involved in!
