The DHS AI Corps is a new initiative by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to bring 50 AI experts from the private and public sectors to play pivotal roles in responsibly leveraging AI across strategic mission areas in the Department. The AI Corps will bolster the DHS workforce with experts in AI and Machine Learning (ML) technologies, models, and applications who will support policy initiatives to ensure the safe and secure use of AI, while protecting privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties.
