At Clemenger I worked on global clients including MARS & CUB under internationally acclaimed creatives including James McGrath, Stephen De Wolf & Evan Roberts. We won pitches and produced engaging, award-winning work. I learnt to push the work and myself, as far as it and I could possibly go.

I was honoured to be offered a teaching role at Deakin University to help kick start their new Advertising Degree. Educating young, aspiring ad professionals is one of the best jobs I've ever had and I plan to continue teaching when and wherever I can.

Running my own copywriting company has given me the opportunity to work with a broader range of brands from an even broader range of industries including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and tourism. Beyond copywriting, I have been able to expand my skills in creative direction, branding, client relations, digital marketing and entrepreneurial innovation.

Since relocating to Indonesia I was caught up in the 2018 Lombok Earthquake which destroyed my home and threatened the livelihood of my community. Using my advertising nous I formed Rebuild Gili, an online community to help raise money for the Lombok locals. Through well-written, genuine content with a whole lot of heart, we were able to reach over 50 000 people and raise nearly $40 000.

Being a creative in a big ad agency I didn't even book my own meetings let alone make real-life sales without the advantages that come with big dollar budgets. So I decided to sell something in order to learn something, creating my own business completely from scratch.

While at The Brand I worked closely with large government clients on influential Road Safety, WaterCorp and City of Perth campaigns. Our WA Police radio campaign 'Tougher for Crooks' made it into Best Ads, The Sirens and was a 2017 Southern Cross Austereo Radio Writers finalist. Our work on The Road Safety Commission's 2016 Drink Driving campaign also won Bronze at the PADC Awards.

My time at ENJO helped me strengthen my SEO and SEM copy based abilities working primarily on digital and social campaigns.
