I believe my abrupt exposure to situations and guidance from my mentors have taught me to predict actions of others and appropriately plan my responses. Being in HR, there are nurturing qualities that sprout from the need to be empathetic with others. However, it is equally important to stand firm on grounds where no compromises can be made. As I worked across organizations and dealt with employees having different perspectives, I learnt how to strike this balance with each situation. This has complemented my ability to formulate constructive interactions with others and respond to stimuli with a thorough analysis. My projects pressed on the need to reasonably question everything.My post-graduate studies at LUMS are targeted towards obtaining a holistic perspective of business management. With its rigorous curriculum, the program aims to inculcate a skill-set that approaches real-world issues by engaging all disciplines. Over the span of one year, I have had the opportunity to work with different projects as well as gain understanding of how different industries and sectors operate and acquaint myself with knowledge of the various, relevant stakeholders involved.
