- Worked in Claims Section for about 6 months in which I learned the processing of insurance claims through Oracale database system. My key responsibilities were : • Initiating, assessing, evaluating claims activities.• Working on oracle base system regarding daily claims.• Dealing with the clients regarding claims on daily basis.• Interacting with the clients via mail, call and letters.• Daily correspondence with the investigators.• Submit daily reports to the line manager and the competent authorities.

In PSO, the department of Treasury is responsible for a company’s liquidity. Treasury department ensures that a company has sufficient cash available at all times to meet the needs of its primary business operations. However, its responsibilities range well beyond that single goal. Thus, the treasury department occupies a central role in the finances of PSO.-Had been in Treasury Department, where I had worked particularly in general banking.- Learned that how Bank guarantees are created and how treasury department works on it. Treasury department is linked with 19 different banks and in this short span of time I came to know that how treasury department deals with these banks.- Worked on remittances both inward and outward, made a summary of it and calculated the amount of remittances according to exchange rates. .- Worked on Markup calculation which PSO pays to banks for the purpose of running finance.- Worked on PSO’s Online Order Management System (OOMS) and also passed entries in SAP regarding online payments and receipts.

- Worked in various departments of National Bank to understand the core elements and functions of bank,- The departments include, Credit, Foreign Exchange, Bank Reconciliation, Front Desk Operations, Clearing and Forwarding,, Export and Import and HR.- Understand the difference between pledge and Hypothecation and how these modes are used in Bank for credit purposes.- Understand the difference between Nostro and Vostro Accounts maintained by Bank.
