In this role I used my skills to encourage and support clients to achieve their personal and professional goals, assisting clients to develop valued roles in the community, as well as generally promoting social inclusion.

Participated in a three-month internship program at Edmund Rice International (ERI), a non-governmental organization, based in Geneva, Switzerland that is committed to working forchildren and young people who are marginalised because of poverty, lack of access toeducation, legal status, environmental degradation, or involvement in armed conflict.Duties included monitoring events at the 30th session of the Human Rights Council, the 23rdUniversal Periodic Review (UPR) session and meetings of the Commission of the Rights ofthe Child, tracking recommendations (made as part of the UPR sessions), evaluatingthe effectiveness of ERI communications, preparing teaching modules suitable for use withyoung people and participating in the ERI Youth Ambassador initiative.
