After capturing his life story, I was inspired to give other older adults the chance to build their legacies, one story at a time.Where I’m Skillful: Empowering Teams- Problem: Siloed teams struggle to communicate effectively.- Solution: I create detailed artifacts to keep teams informed, develop newsletters to highlight achievements, and host weekly share-outs to promote cross-collaboration.- Background: While working with teams across state and national lines, I noticed critical information often got lost, and human connection was lacking. Using my background in Agile methodologies, I’m dedicated to making information clear and accessible while cultivating a connected, collaborative community.How I Impact the World: Advocacy Work- Problem: Many disenfranchised groups are not present at the decision-making table.- Solution: I actively participate in projects and resource groups focused on inclusion and representation.- Background: In my work at Rememorë and beyond, I’ve learned that designing for everyone can mean designing for no one.
