Zeynep Pınar Erdem is a lawyer, researcher and consultant working on human rights law and humanitarian law, with a specific focus on conflict-related sexual violence, LGBTI rights, rights of refugees and asylum seekers in Turkey and the Middle East. Pınar has worked for UNFPA Turkey, Human Rights Watch, All Survivors Project and ICMPD and she currently works as a researcher for MOSAIC Mena.Pınar Erdem graduated from KOÇ University Faculty of Law. She earned her LL.M. degree from UCLA School of Law with a dual concentration in International and Comparative Law and Law and Sexuality. She earned the Promise Institute for Human Rights Award. Pınar has published articles in PassBlue and The Guardian.
