•I furthered my experience at a drill site and with alignment of drill collars. •Worked in the core shed with duties including - clear labelling and moving of core boxes, geotechnical logging, magnetic susceptibility measurements, use of portable XRF, and preparation of core samples to be assayed. I also used a diamond saw for core cutting.•I was trained in data entry using IOGlobal program “logger”•I identified mineralized zones and estimated mineral percentages for backed up drill holes – recorded data in excel spreadsheet.
