I am a Possibilist. I believe in harvesting the tremendous power of international collaboration based upon a fact-based understanding of the world in order to achieve a just world free of poverty & ecological collapse. Having studied the data regarding the long-term, slow yet gradual trends of progress that humankind has achieved to this date, I am filled with immense hope & conviction that further progress is definitely possible. I'm of the opinion that there is no contradiction between celebrating the enormous progress we have achieved and continuing to fight for more. So, I have chosen to take my role sternly in identifying how I can contribute to doing something sustainable for the planet, by combining both my passion and profession. I’m particularly enthusiastic about impact-driven approaches in sustainable development, education and climate change. My curiosity to explore these three domain-specific knowledge and obsession with converting them into specific call-to-action comprise the uniqueness that helps me stand out in the crowd. Using my short but significant professional engagement in several social and rural development initiatives, I’m gathering more experience. Using this experience, I want to bring real-time change to the beloved planet and the underserved, vulnerable communities on it. In my free time, I take great pleasure in doing a bit of urban gardening and am an astronomy geek pondering the mysteries abundant in the Cosmos. I'm also a bookworm with a wide range of reading taste so feel free to reach out if you've got any interesting book recommendations!

FellowTeach For Bangladesh Nov 2021 - Dec 2023Dhaka, BangladeshAs a Teach for Bangladesh Fellow, I embraced the mission to eradicate educational inequity and aligned with the vision of fostering leadership in education within an underserved community in Dhaka. Over two years, I taught ESL, Social Science, and Science to nearly 180 6th and 7th graders, embodying the commitment to create equitable learning opportunities. Leveraging data-driven decision-making, I significantly contributed to educational assessments and school improvement projects, working in concert with a team of over 30 dedicated teachers. My instructional design was tailored for adolescent learning, supporting the broader goal of educational reform and leadership development. Beyond teaching, I engaged in youth development, educational leadership, and established effective parent-teacher communication, reinforcing community involvement. My efforts in project management and report writing provided insightful analyses on strategies to overcome educational challenges. By addressing individual student counseling needs, I furthered our collective aim to empower students for personal and academic success. This comprehensive experience has deeply engrained in me the complexities of educational inequity and the transformative power of informed, committed teaching. -
