Responsible for the day-to-day Oracle database administration i.e. backup maintenance, user management, quota management and performance tuning. Also responsible for maintaining the company’s disaster recovery (DR) database sites using Oracle Data Guard and administrating the synchronization of their logs with the primary database. Administrative responsibilities include supervising on-site resources from out-sourced financial application deployment company and looking after co-ordination with the finance department in accordance to their requirements on the running computerized financial system.
