- Contracted to Corbion Biomaterials plant in Tucker, GA.- Worked on five‐person project team designing, constructing, and starting up $28M biodegradable polymer production plant in Tucker, Georgia.- Responsible for leading equipment development for Reactive Extrusion and Post‐Polymerization processes that are part of the production routine for biodegradable polymers.- Facilitated commissioning of grinding, sieving, and packaging mechanical polymer processing operations. Supported commissioning and qualification activities for a Melt polymerization and purification process.

Canada

- Start-up firm created to provide portable oil-filtering solution to commercial kitchen market space.- Designed and prototyped a portable oil filter, capable of purifying cooking oil from over-fried food debris, enabling restaurants to reuse cooking oil without jeopardizing health of customers, once scaled-up and commercialized.

Singapore

- Assisted in the product development cycle of an Electrocardiogram (ECG) device.- Designed and built a customized prototype for a marketing team to conduct usability tests.- Facilitated a research study on human factors in product design using anthropometric data to determine the optimum tilt angle of the LCD touch interface on the ECG device and the optimum height of its rolling cart.• Drafted test protocols for water ingress tests, connector abuse tests and impact tests.• Training/Classes: SAP, Objet 3D Printer, Injection Molding Design.

- Contributed to research study of insulation degassing of power transmission cables expected to accelerate cable failure due to partial discharge.- Conducted moisture analysis and breakdown test for paper insulated lead sheathed (PILC) cables to determine failure causes.- Installed sample overhead connector loops in laboratory to monitor effects of temperature changes on connectors due to high current flowing through core of connectors.- Performed tensile tests on several connectors and insulators to record maximum strength and fracture points during standardized certification process.- Completed tests to monitor effects of quenching on ceramic insulators, as part of simulating thermal loading during regular operation.
