I have been working in the Islamic fintech sector for over a year as the Head of Strategy & Partnership at Ethis, a platform that matches investors and investee startups based on Islamic finance values. I graduated from the Rave Accelerator Bootcamp, a startup accelerator program by MyNEF, where I learned how to develop and scale innovative business models using tools such as Blue Ocean Strategy and Business Model Canvas.For more than two years, I have also been a Halal Dating Coach, helping single professionals get married the fast and easy way. I leverage my skills in events, social networking, and marketing communications to create engaging and effective dating programs and workshops. As a TEDx speaker, I share my passion and insights on making halal dating sexy and fun.Additionally, I am the President of Malaysia4Uyghur, a coalition of 24 multi-faith and multi-ethnic NGOs that advocate for human rights and justice for the Uyghur people in China. I coordinated a diplomatic fact-finding mission to the disputed Xinjiang region, organized a round table discussion and a human rights conference, and spearheaded a non-political approach based on gastro-diplomacy called NaanTime. With a bachelor's degree in psychology, I apply my knowledge and understanding of human behavior and motivation to all my endeavors.
