Along with the position of CEO of local consulting arm of BDO - a top 5 global audit and consulting firms - I headed the marketing division and overall business strategy and development of newly born BDO member firm in the Republic of Tajikistan. At the time, my primary responsibilities revolved around developing and instilling new audit and consulting brand in Tajikistan. Today, BDO is a well-known brand in the country and it has captured a sizable market share in only few years. Thanks to the strong management team and the right corporate culture, BDO Tajikistan is well-regarded in CIS region.

Orienbank is one of the largest commercial banks in Tajikistan. I was privileged to work as an intern for a few months and learn a great deal of what the banking system in the country is like. I was assigned to the department of international trade. We have carried out trade financing by issuing L/C and Bank guarantees. The team was well experienced and I was fortunate to have a chance to learn all the nuances and knowledge required to excel as a professional.
