Holding a Doctor of Musical Arts and a Master of Social Work, she navigates the intersections of music, advocacy, and social justice with intentional expertise. As co-director of the Center for Ethnic Studies Research (CESR) at the University of Pittsburgh, she led pioneering initiatives that explore the complexities of ethnicity, culture, and identity.Zuly's extensive experience in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is reflected in her work with various organizations. As Director of Digital Marketing for Black Opera Alliance, she championed racial equity in the classical music industry.
