SINGAPORE POLICE FORCECommander, Airport Police DivisionCONCURRENTLY AT INTEGRATED CHECKPOINTS COMMAND Domain Commander (Air)• Responsible for aviation security at Changi and Seletar Airports. • Chaired the Airport Security Coordinating Committee to look into airport security issues at operational level. • Also sat in various committees, including the National Civil Aviation Security Committee and National Aviation Transport & Facilitation Committee, to discuss security and facilitation issues. • As the Appropriate Authority under the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), administered and enforced various security programmes for compliance by the airport operator and airline operators to protect passengers, crew, ground personnel, aircrafts and facilities from acts of unlawful interference. • Oversaw the conduct of audits to ensure high levels of compliance with ICAO requirements. • Conducted and participated in regular exercises to validate plans and ensure operational readiness. • Also responsible for operationalising the concept of ICC to provide a single line of authority to oversee checkpoint operations in the Air Domain.

SINGAPORE POLICE FORCECommander, Training CommandCONCURRENTLY AT HOME TEAM ACADEMY (ADMIN) Deputy Chief Executive• Served as principal advisor to the Commissioner of Police on all training matters in SPF; oversaw training of all SPF personnel. • Implemented various new training programmes, including the SPF Command & Staff Course, to enhance officers’ skills and initiatives for training safety. • Managed Home Team Academy, the training institute for various organisations within Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs (collectively known as the Home Team) which sees an attendance of 3,000 Home Team officers daily.
