I am currently working in a small team environment directly under the Senior Geo-technical Engineer to manage the Soils lab. Laboratory work consists of running a variety of tests on field samples adherent to ASTM standards. Data gained from these tests is then used to accurately identify, classify, and provide strength correlations analogous to onsite conditions. Position emphasizes accuracy and precision due to timing and sample size constraints.This position also reports directly to the branch manager for field work and to perform compression testing of concrete and masonry field and lab cure samples.
