I have the opportunity to coordinate technical assistance and provide leadership and guidance to approximately 100 school sites in the improvement, innovation, and performance of career and technical education while aligning state and federal initiatives with Carl Perkins legislation. Maintain appropriate and accurate documentation for state and federal audits and monitoring.I am able to collaborate on the structure, coordination and facilitation processes for implementing the approved Carl Perkins State Plan including local application review and approval, reimbursement of expenditures, monitoring and technical assistance for local Carl Perkins eligible recipients.Coordinate, manage and ensure ODCTE’s local recipient monitoring plan is implemented including timely follow-up reporting and overseeing any corrective actions to be completed by monitored recipients to ensure compliance with federal law.Coordinate and ensure that agency services to prepare individuals for nontraditional fields are implemented, working closely with other state staff to ensure completion of planned activities and monitor nontraditional data to ensure activities are positively affecting the measurement. Developed and disseminated information that advanced career and technical education educators’ ability in to make effective decisions, establish strategic direction and support the key major processes.Coordinated and implemented STEAMmaker Camp and Code Camp project based learning professional developments. Collaborated with the Communications and Marketing Division to effectively communicate and leverage the CareerTech Brand through social media.

Wrote successful grant proposal to the National Research Center for Career and Technical Education for participation in the National Programs of Study Institute.Provided leadership and technical assistance for all technology center Cooperative Alliance Program partnerships including collaboration with Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and college partners.

Led and made available technical assistance, professional development and programmatic review to 26 local Tech Prep Coordinators in the implementation of $1.5 million federal funding through the Tech Prep program.

Oversaw and managed a team of 6 student staff serving 7 academic colleges. Coordinated, organized and managed team responsible for the successful implementation of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions special recruitment programming for 2005-2006 academic year including: OSU Experience (approximately 5,000 attendees), Scholars’ Day (approximately 500 attendees), Principals & Counselors Conference (approximately 250 attendees), Multicultural Encounter (approximately 300 attendees) and Transfer Institutions Symposium (approximately 50 attendees) while developing new recruitment programming including Cowboy Eagles Program (approximately 50 attendees)and co-developed OSU Sneak Peek (approximately 900 attendees).Handled confidential student records including personal data and academic data.

I had the privilege to recruit students to Oklahoma State University where I was able to increase the enrollment of students from DFW at OSU by 71%. I had the opportunity to present at over 100 college and career fairs in the DFW and Texas Panhandle areas, coordinated, developed and presented at alumni recruiting training sessions and authored and researched recruitment manual for alumni and fellow recruiters in Texas.

My responsibilities included the expansion of client base through personal contact and phone solicitation, gathering of legal documents, processing and closing of home equity loans in Texas. Responsible for coordination of appraisals, title work and gathering of bankruptcy documents for clients in B and C lending.

I had the privilege of being a Route Salesman & Assistant Special Events Coordinator, responsibilities included the sale of the Coors family of products & imports, introduction of new product, setting up new accounts, servicing existing accounts, coordination of special events, placement of point of sale materials, cash handling and executing public relations work for a territory covering on-premis customers in the Oklahoma City, Mid West City, Moore, and Norman areas
