My name is Zachary Russell, and I’m currently the Program Coordinator for the Student Conservation Association’s New York State Parks Corps. Starting with my graduation from Plymouth State University with a Bachelor of Environmental Science in 2013, I have consistently been involved in the environmental education and conservation field. From coordinating outreach events in Chicago, to executing environmental education programming in New York City, to overseeing environmental remediation in Connecticut, I have extensive experience in the private, nonprofit, and public sectors. My foreseeable goal is to continue to broaden my career prospects and professional certifications while increasing the role intersectional environmentalism has in my work. Bringing accessibility, equity, and inclusion to the environmental landscape will always be my main focus.
