This involved, the development on a Internal Engagement strategy to deliver our strategic messages and engage all employees with regular, meaningful and consistent information about on-going activity.I was accountable for the planning and development of all internal communications and engagement activity, informed by evidence and insight captured from annual all staff survey and other feedback forums. I worked closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure timings and strategic messages were aligned with organisational activity in both the internal and external spheres. I was responsible for implementing an internal communications service that was both responsive and proactive, enabling two-way communication, supporting the organisation to share news, celebrate success, work collaboratively and live our values and behaviours.The function worked with all teams across the organisation to engage staff with everything from operational messages, to strategic activity, change programmes and key external campaigns. This is a key role working closely with the Chief Executive, the Director of People, and the Executive Leadership team. I devised and delivered a range of internal communications and staff engagement strategies, plans and agreed communications as well as advising on business change communications. -

In my time in this role, Scope divested its services, I have overseen the communications for a London office move and we rolled out a GDPR internal campaign and training programme that had a completion rate of 100%. We also rebranded the organisation and I wrote the communications strategy for and led an inside out brand engagement campaign, titled 'We're all Disability Gamechangers'.While in this role I have spoken at a number of external conferences. I led a workshop at PRWeek Strategic Internal Communications Conference, in November 2017. The session was about using storytelling to create engaging content. In September 2018 , I spoke at the Engage Employee conference with a talk called: Disability Gamechangers: Living our brand, inside out. -
Intranet Redesign LeadMacmillan Cancer Support Sep 2015 - Aug 2017London, United KingdomI led an intranet redesign project. I acted as both the product owner (in an agile capacity) and the business lead, securing buy in from the organisation for the change we were creating. I ensured the intranet was fit for purpose, mobile first and put users needs at the heart. We brought in new site governance to ensure we could maintain the site going forward and a thorough training programme to train both content editors and users alike. When rolling out the new site we did so in a fun and creative way, engaging users and assisting the site on boarding process. Our launch campaign was recognised at Institute of Internal Comms campaign and we won best single campaign.Whilst in this role I spoke at Intranet Now conference, September 2015. My talk was titled: Overcoming organisational barriers to ensure intranet redesign success.I also spoke at Intra.net Reloaded London, in July 2016. My talk was titled: Lessons learned from our intranet redesign project. -
