After my old co-workers and friends opened up their new businesses, they asked for my help.I was assessing their businesses and helped where it was most important. I did all sorts of things from just covering management shifts to staff training, maintenance , HR, risk assessment, etc...

I was hired as a Head of Departments, to run and reorganise the bar and living room area. Made several changes in a short period of time to improve quality, customer satisfaction and staff relations.

I wanted to try something more challenging with plenty of possibility to progress. I was always interested in real ale and beer making, but I wanted to work in a proper restaurant at the same time. Bath Ales had a really good reputation for their excellent products and customer service. I decided that I want to work in their flagship restaurant, Graze Bar and Chophouse. It is a truly outstanding place with its own micro brewery, located just by Bath Spa train station.After a couple of years of working here St Austell Brewery a company that has over 150 managed sites took over Bath Ales, I had to step up as acting general manager for a short period of time until the newly appointed GM joined us.

My first job in the UK.I took adventage of my coffee knowledge and organisation skills, and after 6 months I was able to take over from my manager who moved to Australia.Day to day running of the cafe.Ordering from multiple suppliers on a day to day basis.Making sure we always have enough pies, garnish, sauces, cakes etc... cooked/prepared.Cash up, banking, key holder.

Cafe Frei was a young coffee chain specialized in premium quality coffee made by the well trained baristas using the most beautiful coffee machine you will ever see, the £13 000 Elektra Bella Epoque.I fall in love with coffee here, even though we had to remember 50 different recipes.This cafe had a great deal of influence on me choosing hospitality as my career.
