CurrentManaging the day-to-day practice operations of the Intermountain Medical Center Kidney Services Clinic. Collaborating with physicians, APPs, and kidney care navigators, while overseeing multiple frontline caregivers. As a new practice manager, I onboarded seven providers in just five months. In addition, I received the 2023 Medical Group Central Market Award for Meaningful Check-ins and Employee Engagement. Furthermore, I was able to provide leadership and collaborate with the department to achieve the Ease of Obtaining Care KPI in 2024, making us one of the few clinics in the Central Market to do so. Participated in a Telemundo partnership interview to raise awareness of kidney health and the Kidney Risk Score among the Spanish-speaking community. -Reduce accepted clinic referrals by 82% within 4 months after assessing referral workflow and staffing. -Increase patient satisfaction scores by 10% in 2024 by developing new scheduling process and responding to patient concerns. -Coordinate with senior leadership to help launch new nephrology practices in various medical group markets and regions, by providing frontline support staff, coordinating call coverage, and providing managerial support. Assisted in launching nephrology practices in Ogden, ST. George, & Provo. -Increased copay collection by 30% after modifying front desk scripting and motivating the team through competition. -Increase patient access by onboarding new providers, modifying provider templates, and optimizing the use of our APPs. This decreased days to third next available appointment down to 15 days.-Collaborate with the leadership on developing a WRVU model to improve physician productivity. -Piloting the following service line initiatives: Kidney Disease Education (KDE), Kidney Rick Score (KRS), and the post hospital follow up care. -Improve communication with the dialysis team by standardizing the answering service process and provider schedules.
