About Ángela M. Munguía

As the Executive Director at AMPT: Advancing Nonprofits, I lead a team who support Black and Latine led nonprofit organizations in Chicago with capacity building including: strategic planning, organizational development, fundraising, and board governance. I bring over 20 years of experience in the social sector, working with diverse communities and stakeholders to advance social justice, racial equity, and community development.My core competencies include program design and management, staff coaching and evaluation, data analysis and strategic planning, partnership development and relationship building, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy and implementation. My mission is to leverage my skills and expertise to work in partnership with nonprofit leaders and organizations to achieve equitable lived experiences for marginalized people of color.
