Responsible for big, complexed and business critical it development projects within commerial areas. . From prestudies, defining scope, secure development, test and deployment, using SAS's modified development process based on RUP (Rational Unified Process).Examples of project:• App development, for iPhone and Androids. SAS Crew Guides , where the first become “app of the week” in 2011.• Implementing two payments solutions, to allow customers to pay for additional baggage at time of self service check-in. One “card present” solution, in SAS’s check-in kiosks, and one “card not present” solution on SAS internet booking site. Including solution for feed to SAS accounting- and other follow up systems, as well as modifications to SAS Check-in systems, to allow validations and rules for price and allowance of baggage. The assignment included the RFP (Requst for Proposal) process, together with SAS purchasing apartment, to secure the best payment solutions both hardware- and software wise.• Within SAS EuroBonus (EB) loyalty program, development of several external web services against the EB core system, integration between EB core system and the EB web shop, FTP establishment between SAS and several external partners, and integration between American Express and SAS for the co branded AMEX/SAS EuroBonus credit card.• In 2006, SAS launched a new internet site, with a new content management platform (EpiServer) and a new booking platform. I ran the content management implementation part• Packaged trips (flight, hotel, events) for SAS Fly and Stay. This was a complete booking platform which needed integration to SAS reservation system, ticketing and accounting. The supplier was located in San Francisco. I took over the project just before launch, and ran two following phases of development.

During the two years as e-commerce program manager, I was responsible for the ecommerce development portfolio, containing approx 12 projects with a total budget of 30 MSEK. Besides running some of the projects, I was the chairman of the change control board, point of contact for both suppliers and stakeholders, and did coaching and support to the other 10 project- and system managers in the program.I attended a Coaching-training, and a Leadership cource during this period.

Out of 120 candidates, I was selected together with 11 other SAS employees, to attend a one year IT training to become a systems analyst. That was the beginning of my IT career.During my time at SAS Data, I started as a cobol programmer, followed by client server development, and ending up as a project manager. Three years I worked with SAS accounting system used by stations outside Scandinavian. It was a locally implemented mini computer system at SAS offices around Europe and North America. It was a very travel-intense period, installing new versions, gathering requirements and performing training, and then back to the office to do the development.
