Dr. Halisdemir has started his career during his high school years, working as an apprentice in the Grand Bazaar and Sultanhamam districts, gaining important life lessons on sales, trading and fundamental basics of business. Meanwhile, he was interested in politics, being an active member of the youth movement of the ruling party of the time, seeking the right answers for the nation. His involvement in trade and politics came to an end after graduation and he started his professional career in Finance in 1995. The plenteous experiences, he had previously helped him advance in his new career and he has signed many successful projects and risen to CEO position of a Bank just in 12 years, in 2007. Dr. Halisdemir has been entitled “The youngest CEO” at the time and during his 8 year service he has taken additional responsibilities, founded the first digital investment/retail bank brand and executed a 100-times fold in the asset size. During his career in various institutions, he and his teams received several international excellence awards. Many members of his teams also have become senior and successful professionals or businessman. Dr. Halisdemir has taken a sabbatical leave in 2016 and focused on personal improvement. He was elected as the president of an important NGO in Finance sector that has major corporations, banks and influential professionals as members and he is working to extend the capabilities of the organization. Dr. Halisdemir gives speeches and keynotes on finance, business life, technology, education, self-improvement and entrepreneurship. Born in 1972, he holds a MSc on Capital Markets and PhD in Banking.
