The position as "Irregularity Coordinator" is a vital position for Scandinavian Airlines. In close cooperation with SAS Duty Manager I monitor the daily operations. The responsability is to a large extent to coordinate any deviation/irregularity at Oslo Airport. All actions are taken having the customer in focus, and handling these tasks in a cost-effective way, fast and smooth, is of outmost importance. In special situations we are also in direct contact with media.

As Service Manager at SAS, the tasks are dispatching flights with safety, punctality and service in mind. It is of the highest importance that the Service Manager follows procedures, manuals and routines in order to deliver the highest standards - also in accordance with Government requirements. Extensive involvement with aircraft handling through departure control systems and other processes. The task a Service Manager performs may very often be limited by short time, and due to that, it is very important that we are pro-active, solution-oriented and perform accordingly.

As teamleader for the SAS Special Assistance Team (SAT) I 'm responsible for providing my dedicated team with practical and emotional support. The mission is to provide passengers, Next-of-Kin/family affected by the emergency and crew with support in accordance to SAS Group Emergency Responce Policy.

The position reffered to as "Duty Manager for Staff Dispositions" is placed in SAS Operation Center, and requires a huge insight in the operational processes. The plan ahead-skills, ability to communicate with several departments and individuals at a short notice (as planned tasks may change at a short notice) is essential. The position also requires a good overview of both the staffing-situation within a given time-frame, good analytical abilities and being able to focus on solutions; All in the most cost-effective way. Additionally it is of outmost importance to be able to perform all duties in a safe and punctual manner and to motivate the employees.
