Contributor To The Farming Independent
Dairy Trading Intern
I interned for eight months with the Dairy and Grains trading team in Stone X Group's Dublin office. This placement was completed during the third year of my UCD Food and Agribusiness Management degree. Listed as a Fortune 500 company, my work with StoneX taught me a lot about global trade and gave me an understanding of market trends and how to report them in an efficient manner. I conducted market intelligence and client management work, whilst also helping the analysts and brokers in the office.
Contributor And Editorial Staff Journalist
I began contributing to the Irish Farmers Journal when I was 17 and studying to complete my Leaving Certificate. I worked under the guidance of Patrick Donohoe (now with Lakeland Dairies) and will always appreciate the values and skills that he instilled in me. I continued being connected to the Farmers Journal throughout college and attended many events on their behalf.I completed a very intensive Summer Internship with the Irish Farmers Journal during 2018. Dairy And Meat Sales Representative
I promoted and retailed Irish and European cheese in a high-end food outlet in South Dublin. I engaged with customers and developed promotions (including sampling) for different cheese products.
