I got my PhD in 2013, habilitation in 2018, and in 2023 I obtained the title of professor of engineering and technical sciences. At the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, I progressed through all levels of his scientific career, from doctoral student to professor. Currently, I am the head of the Department of Materials Engineering and Construction Processes at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. I passionate about searching for relationships between scientific paradigms and practical rules in construction, especially in building materials engineering, non-destructive testing, surface engineering, construction processes and artificial intelligence. I popularize diversification and support for the best in science, as well as sustainable development and the use of waste materials in the economy. I published over 200 scientific publications (including over 100 articles in journals from the JCR list), two books published by CRC Press and Springer, and I developed several dozen construction expertise. My works have been cited over 2,000 times in the Web of Science database, and the Hirsch index is 25. I supervised three doctors (including one as a supervisor and two as an auxiliary supervisor). I reviewed over 500 articles in journals from the JCR list, several doctoral and habilitation theses, and two monographs.I am a member of the editorial team of several magazines, including: Structural Concrete, The Journal of Adhesion, Bulletin of the Polish Academy of Sciences Technical Sciences. I conducted all forms of teaching classes (including general and residential construction, basics of design). I was the supervisor of over 80 defended diploma theses (including 2 from the University of Porto). I completed teaching internships at the University of Porto and Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. I hold scholarship of the Foundation for Polish Science and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. I am a member the Academy of Young Scientists of the Polish Academy of Sciences.I participated in several scientific internships, including: at The University of Liverpool (Great Britain), Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg (Germany) and La Trobe University (Australia). I am included in the international ranking of TOP 2% of influential people in science, prepared by analysts from Stanford University, Elsevier and SciTech Strategies). I am an active construction engineer with construction qualifications to design and manage construction works in the construction and construction field.
