- Ensuring the efficient movement and clearance of Import/Export freight in compliance with established regulations and procedures for international freight- Expanding the company`s offering portfolio by introducing the onboard currier service (OBC) - Introducing the company to the pool of accredited carriers of time critical services- Conducting research and action planning to assist in the reduction of overages and shortages as it relates to the handling of international shipments which affect fines and penalties. - Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs to meet margin requirements and ensure maximum profitability- Maintaining communication and control through all phases of the journey, including the production of reports and statistical and unit-cost analysis; freight capacity and maintenance
