I'm Şebnem, an interdisciplinary artist who thrives on integrating elements from my background in urban planning into my artistic endeavors. I find immense pleasure in utilizing everything surrounding me – experiences, curiosities, and observations – as materials for my artistic creations.Alongside operating this studio, I am also the co-founder of RunArte Creative Agency (we seamlessly integrate our studio work with agency projects) and have been teaching architectural drawing at Istanbul Technical University for years. Through my instruction, I continue to bridge the gap between architecture and drawing, using the #urbansketching methodology with my students.In my artistic process, I firmly believe in the rejuvenating power of experimenting with innovations and incorporating diverse materials, sometimes separately, sometimes in tandem.
