I worked as a specialist teacher in the fashion design department at a state vocational high school in Turkey. I provided education in a wide range of subjects, including pattern making and garment construction, in the field of fashion design. I made efforts to impart the necessary skills and knowledge required in the fashion industry to students in classes ranging from 20 to 40 individuals.While informing students about fashion design, pattern making, sewing techniques, and collection creation, I also assisted them in developing their practical skills. As SK DESIGN TASARIM, the winter collection I prepared for WEMSEY was the result of closely following fashion trends, analyzing customer preferences, and market needs. Throughout this process, I conducted market research, examined trend reports, and gathered valuable insights by following fashion influencers on social media platforms. Based on this information, I shaped my designs to target the audience and align with current trends.During the design process, I utilized programs like ADOBE and 3D CLO to visualize and create prototype models. Collaborating with other designers and team members, I fostered a creative atmosphere by exchanging ideas and refining prototypes.Lastly, I collaborated with procurement and planning teams regarding customer markets, pricing, and sales reports. This collaboration ensured a smooth and successful product launch process. I observed how these processes complement each other and contribute to the successful reach of the collection to customers.

I started my career as an assistant designer at Aydınlı Hazır Giyim A.Ş. in 2016 and continued in this field for 6.5 years. During this time, I worked as an assistant designer at the U.S. POLO ASSN brand within the Aydınlı Group, particularly focusing on knitwear, knit, and denim groups. My last role was to prepare the collections for the e-commerce men's and boys' groups.As part of my job description, I participated in full collection preparation processes for A plus customers. I researched fashion trends and identified designs that appeal to consumers, defining target markets and demographics. In the process of creating prototype designs, I worked interactively with other designers and team members, overseeing the final production of designs.I provided production inputs using platforms like VISIUL PLM and INFOR PLM, and attended first fit meetings to examine the appearance of sample models, ensuring that the designed products matched the age, gender, style, and socioeconomic status of the target consumers. During showroom preparation processes, I conducted SAP system entries for brochures and AYDES theme package entries, and also participated in showroom arrangement and combination preparation stages.I followed general education on fabric, color, and pattern-related topics in addition to new fashion trends, and maintained continuous communication with purchasing and production teams to ensure that the product met customer, market, and price criteria.

During my assistantship, I conducted research on trends, colors, clothing, and combinations, and provided support to my designer in the process of creating collections. Additionally, I actively participated in pattern drawing and model drawing.After the completion of the collection process, I communicated between the necessary departments for the final prototype products to be sewn and prepared for showroom and customer presentations, conveying information accurately and efficiently. Following the creation of prototype products and the preparation of the final collection items, I collaborated with casting agencies for customer presentations and ensured showroom arrangement upon presentation.During the production process, I attended initial fit meetings to share information with the fabric and accessory purchasing teams and the pattern-making team. Throughout all these processes, I communicated fluently and professionally, working collaboratively.
