As the Head of Corporate Affairs at Petroleum Fund, I oversee the department that handles compliance, risk, legal, governance, ethics, company secretariat, and public relations. I have more than 10 years of experience as a lawyer and a compliance specialist, working in the financial and energy sectors. I hold a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial Law from the University of Cape Town, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Compliance Management from the University of Johannesburg. I also hold LLB from National University of Lesotho. I am also a member of several professional associations, such as the Lesotho Law Society, the Compliance Institute of Southern Africa, the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa, and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics. I successfully completed Executive Development Program at the Stellenbosch University. I am a Board Member at World Vision International Lesotho.My mission is to ensure that the Petroleum Fund operates in accordance with the highest standards of accountability, transparency, and integrity, and that it fulfills its mandate of regulating the country's importation and sale of oil and gas for the benefit of the current and future generations. I am passionate about strategy, promoting good governance, ethical leadership, and stakeholder engagement in the organization.I have a vast experience in financial sector as I previously worked for the Central Bank of Lesotho as a Compliance Specialist. I pioneered the Regulatory Compliance Function of the Bank and I was also a part of Strategic Formation Team.
