After 13 years of working closely with car dealers across the nation as a direct mail rep for another company, I learned that being passionate about what I do in this industry was not enough. As a rep, I had limited to no control of the back end fulfillment of the campaigns we put together. The ideas I presented for streamlined and more efficient process went unimplemented, and I lost clients as a result. PULSE was the vehicle for these ideas to take shape, and what a rewarding experience it has been! Launching this business amidst the worst economic downturn in recent history, while other marketing firms were busy cutting overhead to stay afloat was an undertaking which brought to light what one can accomplish with passion, vision and drive in the face of logic and common sense. Together, my partners and I were determined to restore faith and integrity to the automotive direct marketing industry, one flaming success story at a time. I am eternally grateful for what I learned about myself during my five years as a partner in my first company. In seeking funding for this venture and gaining exposure for the brand, I tapped in to something I had, up until then, only scratched the surface of. This epiphany led me to move on to start my second business, and I am thrilled at the opportunity to employ, with reckless abandon, this secret sauce of goodness :-)
