Wanlong has 10 + years’ experience in quantitative seismic interpretation, and be on the role of petrophysicist, rock physicist, senior technical advisor and team leader before. For the first 6 years of his career, he focused on seismic petrophysics and rock physics study, accumulated abundant experiences in theoretical and practical, delivered more than 20 commercial projects by deep cooperation with team members.Wanlong was dedicating to Seismic to Simulation (STS) workflow from 4 years ago. This new direction integrated geology, petrophysics, rock physics, gather conditioning, seismic inversion and geological modeling systematically. Especially, he was excellent in rock-physics-driven geostatistical seismic inversion to characterize potential drilling spots, subsurface reservoir properties and geological reserves evaluation, and highly skilled in characterizing both conventional and unconventional reservoir types, e.g. fractured reservoirs, tight oil/ gas reservoirs, having abundant experience in Tarim basin, Sichuan basin and South China Sea.
