Cost Management: Early involve in the project develop stage to find similar performance, replaceable, but cheaper process or material. Get breakdown and analysis to know the cost structure of each product. Use accumulation quantity or allocation to achieve the cost down target. Search similar product in the market and analysis its cost structure to phase in cheaper but workable solution into own product. Project Management: Asses the supplier’s capacity, manpower, machine when decide the supplier. Risk control and tracking when phase in new supplier, process, material. Base on demand, simulate the mass production plan according to the tooling status, Y/R change.
