Hanmi Pharm.Co.,Ltd is the first-largest pharmaceutical company in Korea. Work content: 1) in charge of the interferon beta 1A project and responsible for promoting project progress; 2) to screen the projects which could be carried out in the research center, to evaluate the project and to write the project feasibility report;3) using the CHO stable expression system to express proteins ( including coagulation factor IX and interferon beta 1A); 4) to set up the cell proliferation assay to test GM-CSF activity Experiments involved: cell thawing, cell passage, cell freezing, transfection, construction of stable transfected cell line (including G418 selection, MTX amplification, clone selection, cell adaptation to serum free media etc.), cell proliferation assay, ELISA , cAMP etc. Highlights: 1) set up the experiment methods of cell proliferation and reporter gene assays in the research center; 2) In 2009, I was assigned to the Hanmi Research Center in Korea for 3 months; 3) I was promoted to the project manager of interferon beta 1A project to participate in the project management

 BioDuro Inc is an American CRO company. Work content: outsourcing projects including plasmid construction and protein expression in insect system Experiments involved: RNA extraction, primer design, PCR, RT-PCR, plasmid construction, bacmid construction, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, insect cells transfection, optimization of expression condition, protein expression and purification (the proteins containing His-tag) Highlights: 1) All the outsourcing projects which I was responsible for were finished ahead of the schedule according to customer requirements. Only one exception was finished on the deadline, because the customer provided the plasmid information was wrong. 2) In the project of protein expression in the insect system, the virus titer of mine was 10 times higher than that of the other colleague.

 I worked in the National Drug Screening Center, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences Work content: I set up the drug screening methods targeting at Helicobacter pylori, enzyme, membrane receptors, nuclear receptors and screened drugs Experiments involved: cell thawing, cell passage, cell freezing, transfection, plasmid construction, transformation, protein purification (the proteins containing His-tag), enzyme activity assay, cell proliferation assay (MTT), Calcium mobilization assay, cAMP, MIC assay Highlights: 1) There was a compound which inhibited the growth of H. pylori efficiently. But nobody knew the target of the compound and the inhibition mechanism. I proposed that the compound-resistant strains could be induced artificially. The genome of the strains is digested and ligated into plasmids that are then transformed into the sensitive strain. The strains obtaining the resistance property are screened and the plasmids are isolated. The inserted gene fragments may be the compound targets or targets related. The idea was approved by the boss immediately. But since I am northerner and I am not adapted to the life in Shanghai and hoped to switch work to Beijing. I am sorry to say the project was not carried out at all. Now I realized that I should not give up such a good improvement opportunity for me. 2) As the joint first authors, I published the Novel Antibacterial Agents, Derivatives of Aryl-4-guanidinomethylbenzoate and -aryl-4-guanidinomethylbenzamide:Synthesis and Bioactivity was published on the Acta pharmacologica Sinica (2008, 29(2):267-277)（Impact Factor is 3.223）. All of the biological experiments refered in the paper had been finished by myself.
