Collect local tax laws and regulations into law database, then study tax laws and regulations.Draft China Tax Regulation Express daily, translate Chinese tax law into English. Attend internal training about recent tax policy regularly. Do research about tax declaration in China.

Provide general guidance and support at events held in the university.Promote and assist university guests with their registration and deal with queries relating to their prospective courses and academic preferences. Ensure all information packs relevant to the scheduled activities are distributed timely to guests. Deliver presentation about life at the university from a student’s perspective and support the marketing and promotion of products and services offered at the university including campus tours to visitors. In this role, I increased my confidence to speak in public and enhanced my marketing and communication skills.

Make international calls to potential students to promote HIC courses, teaching quality, facilities and employment opportunities. This role enhanced my customer service and marketing skills as I identified the students’ needs, in line with the marketing strategy of the college. Support with language interpretation from Chinese to English and vice-versa during classes for Chinese teachers at the college furthering their studies. This enhanced my bilingual skills as I was able to support learning and break language barrier.

Promote insurance products and schemes to potential and existing customers, send quotations, follow up calls, and secure sales for the company. Record and input collected customer data to the system (word and excel) for processing and legal purposes. Maintain good relations with both new and existing customers including investigating customer products due for renewal via system reports.This role helped me understand the assessment of health and safety risks for insurance policies.

Make PowerPoint and explaining the educational products to the parents and students. Providing consultant service for parents who have interest in our classes. This enhanced my presentation skills, sales skills and consultation skills. In charge of teaching team, ensure lectures are delivered properly, make sure the teaching quality as required and evaluate the feedback of students and teachers.Make arrangements for teaching timetable to improve the rational allocation of the classrooms and teachers; the comprehensive abilities have been promoted.Manage the daily and monthly bank account keeping.
