• Develop and implement bidding systems, pricing negotiation with vendors and cost reduction programs.• Compare and validate the factory quotation at component level in order to ensure the best product price. • Identify the Cost BOM – plastic/ metal parts/ purchased/ soft goods fabric, and evaluate its product cost. • Review and control cost discrepancies issues for better cost control solution. • Major Product Categories: All infant seats Bouncers, Sleepers & Rockers, etc…• Prepare joint venture’s products cost database, cost analysis to support cost estimation.• Maintain/update FOB cost in system and work with related departments such as Account & Planning.• Handle Product cost audit, system cost audit on a timely basis. • Provide costing support to product development teams in FE/US for new designs and existing items.• Guide new vendors how to work with us such as show them how to fill our quotations. • Weekly meeting with joint venture to review the quotes status and negotiate cost issue.• Guide costing teammate of Joint venture’s annual pricing update. • Assist Senior Manager, Costing & Vendor Sourcing in all cost related documentation and negotiation.
