I have been interested in English since I was a child. Currently studying at the Institute of Applied Foreign Languages of the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, I especially like translating English. Because I went to San Diego, USA as an exchange student on behalf of Taichung City in my first year of high school. At that time, a Taiwanese roommate lived with me, but her English skills were not very good, so I was her daily translator with the host family. I was deeply interested in translation at that time, and I took many translation-related courses when I went to college. In addition to the compulsory Chinese-English translation course, I also took professional translation training courses such as sight translation, step-by-step interpretation, and simultaneous interpretation. Through those courses, I learned enough translation skills.When I was a freshman in college, I worked part-time at the Chung Yuan Guest House. Because foreign guests often came to visit, I gained a lot of experience in receiving foreign guests.I worked as an intern on the course team at VoiceTube, translating videos, writing TOEIC exam analyses, writing blog posts, and drafting speaking challenges. In this company, I learned how to sort out Chinese and English subtitles quickly, and my ability to translate English has also improved a lot. Blogging is the most interesting because you can learn a lot of new knowledge by writing about various topics.
