Working at JABIL 1. Take charge of supplier materials quality performance: audit supplier process. Make sure supplier will follow the control plan to manage the process. Randomly sampling check product cosmetic yield, function yield, and dimension CPk, to check if it coincides with the situation supplier reports. Arrange SI in supplier site, review SI report daily, make sure quality can meet shipment target. Set up IQA inspection items, monitor supplier quality performance, make sure materials are in good state of quality. 2. Solve problems detected by SI, IQA and lines. Feedback quality issues detected by SI and IQA. Drive supplier to take containment action make sure no impact on shipment or production. Drive supplier to provide FACA. Support FA Team to analyze to problem root cause. If it is confirmed this problem is caused by raw material. We will take action immediately like quarantine the problem batch raw materials, semi-production and finished production and then drive supplier to provide FACA. We will also charge the cost to supplier. 3. Tracking supplier FACA and verify supplier improvement effectiveness. We will base on supplier site to audit the improvement.4. Training IQA member. Transfer all cosmetic and function standard into JABIL internal documentation. Train IQA inspection method. Coach IQA the skill of OMM and CMM which is very important for mechanical parts inspection. Make sure all IQA team members can operate fluently. 5. Perform supplier annual audit. Require suppliers which scores are lower than JABIL target to improve. 6. Be responsible for NPI. During each period stage of NPI like Proto, EVT, DVT, PVT and MP, we will review drawing, MTD, Equipment, fixture with supplier. Do GR&R, do correlation with supplier. Set up component control plan. Establish IQA inspection program. Record all component MIL and review with supplier regularly. We will summarize PQP and report it to customer.
