I am Jed from Victoria University in Melbourne. I will graduate from here in one year. My major is Banking Finance. I grew up with traditional Chinese virtues in China. My main strengths are English, social skills and abilities to assist people address with problems. To develop my interest towards finance, my parents encourages me to manage my pocket money since I was five years old. When I went to college, I was interested in speculating in shares. Fortunately, I earned some and it inspired me to further my study in Finance. After I graduated from senior high school, I became a part-time English teacher to help my students to improve their scores. In China, the higher scores means you have more chances in the future and I certainly assisted ten students to promote their English. Being an English teacher is remarkable and unforgettable for me. After two weeks I arrived in Melbourne, I found a new job in Beijing Duck Restaurant in China town as a waiter. Everything around me seems different from before. I have to work hard and do my best to serve my customers. The first time I finished my job, I felt exhausted but I believed everything is under my control and I could improve my ability to serve people. Apart from that, I sincerely love sports in daily life. I learned swimming, skiing, playing basketball, table tennis in my childhood and I insist doing physical exercise twice a week. I assert the strong body is the basement whatever you are willing to do. I am enthusiastic and diligent. If my friends or a stranger need my help, I would do a favour without any hesitation. It seems that many people fail to take into account that helping people would bring them honor and happiness. I would like to seize every chance I got to make progress. After that, I desire to have a try in finance working and exercise myself with professional knowledge. Generally speaking, I want to improve myself in oral English and finance learning first.
